Itinerary ATV Tour

There are 2 schedules to choose from depending on your travel itinerary:

In the morning : 8:00 am to 1:30 pm
In the afternoon : 1:00 pm to 6:30 pm

The 1/2 day ATV tour will begin with pick up from your hotel in Cusco 10 minutes before the chosen start time of the tour.

After a 45 minute drive in your private transportation through the Sacred Valley of the Incas, you will arrive at the ATV base on Highway 39 (Cusco – Urubamba).

First you will receive a 15 minute training session to enable you to familiarise yourself with the ATV.

Once you are comfortable, your guide will lead you along the trail to the viewpoint over the majestic Huaypo Lagoon. Here you will be given the opportunity to rest a while and take souvenir photos of the lake and the snow-capped mountains of Chicon, Verónica and Pumahuanca.

Continuing the journey through the Andes mountains, you will experience a joy ride like no other as the route winds up and down over the magical landscape of the Incas.

After 45 minutes of fun, you will next arrive at the circular agricultural terraces of Moray. An experimental and research centre of the Incas, due to its ever changing micro-climate and surrounding mountain range. Here your bilingual tour guide will be treat you to a guided tour of the complex and show you the best spots to take photos.

Once you have regrouped and taken your seats on your comfortable ATVs, your guide will lead you along the trail to the Salineras de Maras. A unique collection of salt wells that have been formed into stepped terraces, fed by a nearby irrigation channel. Here your tour guide will educate you on the traditional ‘mining’ practices of the local people and the historical significance of the salt mines to the region.

After your tour of the Maras Salt Mines, you will be accompanied back to the ATV base where you started and then transported back to your hotel in Cusco.

A very personal experience

Our guide and driver could not have been more helpful. The bus was just for us but was modern, clean and tidy. The visits to the archaeological sites and the weavers were fascinating and breaks were timed around our needs. I can't recommend this outing too highly.

Sacred Valley, Machu Pichu, Rainbow Mountain

We spent 3 full days with Domingo combining the 2-day Sacred Valley/Machu Pichu tour with 1-day Rainbow Mountain, both originated in Cusco. The entire trip was awesome! Domingo provided everything we could as and more for our small group. He was punctual, helpful, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to travel with. His experience and local knowledge was evident as he (and our drivers) guided us across and through these cultural and geographic spectacles. Domingo provided insight we couldn't have achieved on our own, while giving us our space to explore and enjoy the surrounding at our own pace. Domingo also provided technical assistance if required, such as assisting us with train schedules. Domingo help make this trip a marvelous and memorable adventure..

An unforgettable tour

Excellent planning and accompaniment of the whole team. A lot of professionalism on the part of agents and guides. The only thing we didn't like was the little lunch option. While the buffet was optional, there were no other options either or told us in any previous village if we wanted to buy our lunch beforehand. We were practically forced to buy that lunch which by the way we found expensive.

Excelente experiencia!!! Realmente es un lugar maravilloso donde se conjuga la naturaleza con el ingenio del inca. Ademas nuestro guia Yorgan nos acompaño a traves de estos dos dias brindando sus excelentes conocimientos academicos como asi tambien su respeto, compromiso y calidez en su trabajo!!!! Excelente!!!! La proxima pensamos recorrer el camino del inca de 65 km!!!!
