Itinerary
- Cooking Class 1/2 Day
The tour will begin with pick up in private transport from your hotel in Lima.
Before arriving at the cooking class, you will be accompanied around a local fresh food market to purchase all the ingredients you are going to need to prepare traditional Peruvian food.
Afterwhich, you will be transported to an apartment in the city, which has beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. Here our Chef Dina, will take you on a culinary journey, teaching you how to prepare and try the finest local cuisine. In addition to food, you will also discover the art of preparing and tasting the emblematic Peruvian cocktail ‘Pisco Sour’.
At the end of the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Lima.
Starters:
- Papa a la Huancaína (potatoes covered with Peruvian cream sauce)
- Fish Ceviche (fish marinated with lemon juice)
- Stuffed Cause (mashed potatoes)
Main courses:
- Lomo saltado (slices of beef, potatoes, onion and tomato)
- Rice with chicken (Peruvian style chicken and rice)
- Chicken chili (chicken, yellow pepper, milk and French bread)
Drinks:
- Chicha Morada (purple corn drink)
- Pisco Sour (Peruvian national cocktail)
If you are a vegetarian, you will prepare typical meatless food, in the style of Peruvian cuisine.
