DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1: Arequipa to Chivay – Hot Springs.
At 7:30 a.m., our passengers will be picked up from their respective hotels to board and head to Pampas Cañahuas. We depart from Arequipa at 8:00 a.m. The trip takes approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. Along the way, we will see a wide variety of camelids, especially herds of vicuñas, and beautiful landscapes.
We will pass by the highest point of the trip, the volcano viewpoint, where we will make a brief stop to appreciate the view that this majestic place offers.
We continue our journey to Chivay, where we can enjoy a delicious lunch at the hotel. After settling in, we’ll head to the hot springs, a perfect place to relax and prepare for the next day. We’ll then return to the hotel. We’ll also have a dinner show as an option at one of the restaurants in the town of Chivay.
Day 2: Visit to the Colca Canyon – Condor Flight – Arequipa.
Right after breakfast at 6:30 a.m., you will be picked up from your hotel and depart for the Condor Cross. We will have to take a 30-minute walk.
During our tour, accompanied by our guide, we’ll see beautiful landscapes and the Colca River. Our guide will provide information about the ancient inhabitants and settlers of this area and their cultures at all times.
Arriving at the Cruz del Condor, a place where you can admire the Ccolca Canyon and the magnificent flight of these incredible Andean birds, we will tour the surrounding area and take some photos of the beautiful landscape.
After our visit to the Condor Cross, we will return and have time to enjoy a delicious lunch.
To conclude, we’ll take a tour of the town and visit some churches. On the way back, we’ll also make some stops (optional) to learn about the area and provide you with useful information.
Finally arriving in the city of Arequipa, we will drop you off at your hotel, thus concluding our services.
