Get ready for an unforgettable experience that will take you to Peru’s most iconic destinations. We start in Lima, discovering its colonial architecture and renowned cuisine on a city tour.
The next day, we travel to the south coast to visit the impressive Ballestas Islands in Paracas, enjoy the Huacachina oasis in Ica, and then fly over the enigmatic Nasca Lines, a wonder that still has no definitive explanation.
We continue to Arequipa, where we will explore its charming historic center before departing for the imposing Colca Canyon, home to the majestic Andean condor. Next, we head to Puno, where we will sail across the legendary Lake Titicaca, visiting the floating islands of the Uros and the traditional Taquile Island.
The journey continues to Cusco, capital of the ancient Inca empire, where you will visit its main monuments and archaeological sites. From there, we will tour the spectacular Sacred Valley, including Moray and Maras, before arriving in Aguas Calientes, the gateway to Machu Picchu, one of the seven wonders of the world.
To end this journey on a high note, an unforgettable hike to the famous Rainbow Mountain awaits you, a natural destination that looks like it was hand-painted. Finally, we return to Lima with our hearts full of memories and emotions.

Route Highlights

Welcome and reception at the Lima airport by our staff, who will escort you by private transport to our hotel in Lima, Miraflores.
Upon arrival at the hotel, we will have free time to rest and have lunch before the start of our Lima city tour.
At 2:00pm you will be collected from your hotel and taken on a 4-hour tour of the city of Lima.
The tour will be a visit to the historic center of the Peruvian capital and other important places at Miraflores district, Sites include:
At the end of the tour, you will be taken back to your hotel in Lima.

5:00 a. m Pick up from your hotel in Lima. We will travel 245 kilometers along the Pan-American Highway South until we reach Paracas, a tourist resort in the province of Pisco. On the way, we will make a brief stop in the city of Chincha to use the restrooms and/or enjoy a typical breakfast (optional). We will then continue on to our destination, Paracas, arriving at approximately 7:45 AM. 8:00 AM – DEPARTURE FOR THE BALLESTAS ISLANDS: On a motorized boat, we will see the famous Candelabro, a huge petroglyph located in Independence Bay, Paracas. Continuing our journey 30 minutes out to sea, we will observe the biodiversity of marine fauna residing in the Ballestas Islands, such as guano and marine birds like the famous Peruvian booby, Guanay cormorant, red-footed cormorant, Zarcillo, Peruvian pelican, Humboldt penguin, sea lions, and dolphins. After a 2-hour tour, we will return to the private port of Independence Bay to continue with our next excursion, from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. Departure for the city of Ica at 11:00 a.m. – – WE WILL VISIT THE ARTISANAL WINE CELLAR “EL CATADOR” or “NIETO,” winner of national awards. Here we will learn how wine and pisco are made using traditional methods and taste the winery’s spirits.
We will then have free time for lunch. 4:00 p.m. VISIT TO THE HUACA-CHINA OASIS AND LAGOON: This is a natural oasis located five kilometers west of the city of Ica, surrounded by immense dunes and emerald green waters. Around it there is abundant vegetation consisting of palm trees, eucalyptus trees (introduced species), and the carob tree species known as Huarango, which serves as a resting place for migratory birds passing through this region. Here we will take a 1 hour 30 minute tour in a buggy (tubular), ideal for people who like to feel the speed, adrenaline, and wind brushing their faces, and who are not interested in getting covered in sand when our buggy begins to climb up and down the largest dunes in this place.
At the end of the tour, we will board our private transportation to head to the city of Nazca (approx. 2.5-hour trip).

At 8:00 a. m, we will board our private transportation for the 15-minute transfer to the Nasca airfield.
Fly over the Nazca Lines and observe up to 12 of the most enigmatic figures for 35 minutes: 1. The Whale, 2. Trapezoids, 3. Astronaut, 4. Monkey, 5. Dog, 6. Condor, 7. Spider, 8. Hummingbird, 9. Gannet/Flamingo, 10. Parrot, 11. Hands, 12. Tree.
After the flight, in the afternoon after lunch, we will board a tourist bus and head to the city of Arequipa, the “White City.” During this scenic trip, we will enjoy beautiful landscapes and extraordinary valleys, which are abundant in flora and fauna. Upon arrival in Arequipa, you will be transferred to your hotel located in the historic center of this beautiful city.

After lunch, at 1:30 p. m, our guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and begin the tour of the “White City,” including the Convent of Santa Catalina, undoubtedly the jewel of Arequipa. It was opened to the public in 1970 after being closed for 400 years and contains countless pieces of colonial art. You will also visit the Plaza de Armas, the cloisters of the Society of Jesus, and the neighborhoods of Cayma and Yanahuara, with a magnificent view of the Misti volcano, and visit a traditional colonial mansion called the Founder’s Mansion. 6:00 PM: Transfer to the hotel.

From 7:30 to 8:00 a. m, we will pick you up from your hotel to begin our journey to one of the deepest canyons in the world (4-hour trip), taking the Yura highway, skirting the snow-capped Chachani mountain towards Pampa Cañahuas (Aguada Blanca and Salinas National Reserve), habitat of the beautiful South American camelids, the vicuñas. In the Tocra wetlands, we will be able to see a variety of migratory birds, including flamingos. We will pass by the crater of an extinct volcano (Chucura). We will stop at the volcano viewpoint, which is also the highest point on the road (4,910 meters above sea level), from where we will be able to see much of the western mountain range.
In the afternoon, we will pick you up from your hotels to go to the medicinal hot springs (Calera), where we will spend approximately two hours. The hot springs are between 35 and 38 degrees Celsius. Afterwards, we will return to our hotels. Around 7:00 pm, we will pick you up from your hotels to enjoy dinner with a beautiful show or welcome party with traditional dances of the Colca Valley people.

After breakfast, we will depart for the “Cruz del Cóndor” (Condor Cross), where the canyon begins, and enjoy its depth. In this beautiful landscape, you will also have the opportunity to see condors in their natural habitat. After a brief stop at the “Cruz del Cóndor,” we will continue our journey through the Colca Canyon, admiring the small villages of Pinchollo, Madrigal, Lari, Maca, Achoma, Yanque, etc. We will return to Chivay for lunch and then go to Puno, ending the tour at approximately 6:30 p. m.

A. m: After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the port of Puno (Lake Titicaca) where you will board the boat and then visit the Floating Islands of the Uros for 1 hour and 30 minutes, where you will appreciate the customs of this island and its boats. We will then also travel by boat to visit Taquile Island, which is of great ethnic, cultural, and archaeological value. Then we will return by boat to the port of Puno, where you will be picked up and taken to the hotel, or if you prefer, we can drop you off in the center of Puno so you can visit the city.

After a hearty breakfast, we will pick you up in our private transport from the hotel and begin our journey to the city of Cusco, which takes approximately 9 hours. We will have 4 excursions and guided tours of the tourist attractions of the southern highlands, visiting the temple of Andahuaylillas or the Sistine Chapel of America, the Inca temple of Raqchi, and at noon in the city of Sicuani, we will have a buffet lunch included in the tour. From there, we will continue the tour, arriving at the Raya Pass at 4,335 meters above sea level and the Inca Aymara Museum of Pukara. Each visit lasts 20 to 40 minutes, during which passengers can ask questions, take photos, and walk around a bit, making our excursions enjoyable. Upon arrival in Cusco, our staff will be waiting for us and will take us to the hotel where we will spend the night.

You will have the morning free to rest after our exhausting journey and also to acclimatize to the altitude of Cusco.
1:30 p. m: We will begin our City Tour, meeting you in the lobby of your hotel to start our tour. We will visit the Temple of the Sun or Qoricancha, the Plaza de Armas, the main streets, and we will also visit the 04 inka ruins near the city, the Sacsayhuamán Fortress, finally “Qenqo”, Pukapukara and Tambochay the temple of the water. p. m transfer to the hotel.

The tour begins at 7:30 a. m when we pick you up from your hotel in Cusco. then we will travel to the upper part of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, visit the typical market of Chinchero and the colonial temple, Moray (agricultural experimentation center) and the Maras Salt Mines, then we will head to the town of Urubamba for lunch.
After lunch, we will drive along the Urubamba River to the town of Ollantaytambo. Once we arrive in Ollantaytambo, we will visit the Inca city and the important Inca construction site, built during the height of the Inca Empire, where the descendants of the Incas still live in Inca houses.
Finally, we will take you to the train station, where you will board the train that departs at 3:37 p. m. for the town of Aguas Calientes, a two-hour trip. Along the way, you will see impressive valleys, snow-capped mountains, gorgeous Inca terraced fields, and Inca ruins. Finally, you will arrive in Aguas Calientes, located at 2,000 meters (6,000 feet) above sea level. Upon arrival in Aguas Calientes, our staff will meet you outside the train station and take you to your hotel.

Today we will finally visit Machu Picchu. After breakfast, your guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel and take you to the bus stop to board the bus. We will drive for about 30 minutes to reach the citadel of Machu Picchu. We will pass through the checkpoint where you will show your ticket and passport. You will have a private guided tour to visit the most important places in Machu Picchu, such as the Main Square, the Temple of the Sun, the Sacred Solar Clock, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows, and the cemeteries. The tour will last more than two hours. After the visit, you will have free time to visit Machu Picchu on your own (optional, climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain, this has an additional cost of $75 USD per person).
At the appropriate time, we will take the bus and descend from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes. The usual departure time for the train to Ollantaytambo is in the afternoon, followed by a two-hour drive to your hotel in Cusco.

The Rainbow Mountain tour starts with pick up at 5am from your hotel in Cusco.
Your private transportation will take you on a 2-hour drive through the picturesque towns and valleys of the Peruvian Andes until we reach the town of Cusipata. Here we will stop for a delicious breakfast in a local restaurant amidst the stunning backdrop of the surrounding mountain range.
After breakfast, your driver will transport you a further 90 minutes up the valley to the start of the hike. Accompanied by your guide, you will begin at elevation 4,650 m / 15,255 ft. If you do not wish to hike the 90 minute trail to the first viewpoint, our Rainbow Mountain tour offers you the option to hire the services of a horse to carry you for the first hour up the trail to viewpoint. Please bear in mind that if you wish to reach the highest viewpoint, you will need to hike the final 20 minutes on foot, to the summit at 5,040 m / 16,535 ft.
Once you have arrived at the viewpoint, you will be treated to the beautiful views of Vinicunca and its natural formation of mineral rich striking colours, including vibrant shades of red, orange, yellow, green, and blue.
The mountains surrounding Vinicunca comprise the breathtaking hills of the Red Valley. The mountains get their name from the distinct presence of iron oxide in the rock, giving visitors a unique viewpoint of a deep red mountain range.
Once you have taken in your surroundings and bagged as many photos as you can carry, you will descend back down the mountain with your guide. Your driver will be waiting for you to return at the end of the hike, ready to transport you back to the restaurant in Cusipata for a well deserved rest and lunch.
The final leg of the tour will be the 2-hour drive back to Cusco. Arrival at your hotel is approximately 4 p. m.

At the appropriate time, pick up from the hotel and transfer to the airport to take the return flight to Lima.
The scheduled time of the return flight from Cusco to Lima will depend on the departure time of your international flight.

The train has a luggage limit of 7-8 kilograms per person. We therefore recommend bringing only important and necessary items to Aguas Calientes.
We recommend taking a backpack into the citadel, however please be aware that bags of more than 25 liters will not be allowed. Larger backpacks will need be stored outside the gates of the citadel.
