DAY 01: ARRIVING TO PERÚ 

Upon your arrival in Lima, Peru, in the morning or afternoon, our staff will be waiting for you at the airport with a sign bearing your name and a warm welcome, before transferring you to your hotel.

Once at the hotel, you will have the day free to relax and explore the city on your own.

DAY 02: LIMA CITY TOUR

a. m breakfast at the hotel.

At 9:00 a. m to 1:30 p. m, we will start the tour of the “City of Kings,” enjoying a historical tour of Lima. Along the way, you will see the impressive Huaca Pucllana site from the bus. Then we will head to old Colonial Lima, exploring the various monuments and colonial buildings, including the Paseo de la República (Roosevelt House), Plaza San Martín, and Plaza Mayor. Afterward, we will visit the Convent of San Francisco, which houses the largest collection of colonial religious art in the Americas. Its main attraction is the visit to its underground crypts, known as the Catacombs. On the return to the hotel, we will enjoy beautiful views of the Costa Verde in Miraflores.

DAY 03: TOUR PARACAS, BALLESTAS ISLAND AND HUACACHINA FULL DAY

We will pick you up from your hotel between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m. to depart for Paracas. There, we will enjoy a boat tour of the Ballestas Islands, where you can observe sea lions, penguins, and the famous Candelabro geoglyph.

Afterward, we will continue to Ica for a wine and pisco tasting at a traditional winery. In the afternoon, we will visit the Huacachina Oasis, where you will enjoy a dune buggy tour and sandboarding. Finally, we will return to Lima at approximately 9:00 p.m.

DAY 04: FLIGHT TO CUSCO – CITY TOUR 1/2 DAY

a. m Breakfast at the hotel.

a. m pick-up from your hotel in Lima for transfer to the airport. Flight to Cusco city (3,400 meters above sea level), at your arriving to Cusco you will meet your transfer who will take you to the hotel. This morning is ideal for resting and acclimatizing to the altitude.

In the afternoon after your lunch, at 1:30 p. m we will take a city tour of Cusco, visiting the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, the Qoricancha Temple, Qenqo, Pukapukara, and other sites in the city.

DAY 05: SACRED VALLEY TOUR – AGUAS CALIENTES TOWN

a. m Breakfast at the hotel.

We begin the tour at 6:30 a. m. with pick-up from your hotel. Our first stop will be the Inca citadel of Chinchero, known for its history and traditional textile art. Then we will visit the impressive Maras Salt Mines and the circular terraces of Moray, an ancient Inca agricultural center.

At midday, we will enjoy a buffet lunch in Urubamba, the heart of the valley. In the afternoon, we will explore the fortress of Ollantaytambo, an Inca architectural gem. From there, we will board the tourist train to the town of Machu Picchu town, where we will spend the night.

DAY 06: MACHU PICCHU TOUR – CUSCO

a. m Breakfast at the hotel.

Very early after breakfast, we will head to the bus station to begin our journey to Machu Picchu, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. From there, we will take a bus up to the historic sanctuary, where we will enjoy an approximately 3-hour guided tour of the majestic Inca citadel. Our expert guide will explain the history, architecture, and mysteries of this sacred site.

After the tour, we will return to Aguas Calientes to board the train back to Cusco. Upon arrival, our team will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel.

DAY 07: HUMANTAY LAKE FULL DAY

Very early in the morning (between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m.), we will depart from Cusco for the community of Mollepata, where we will enjoy an Andean breakfast. Then we will continue to Soraypampa, the starting point of our trek.

From there, we will begin a hike of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the impressive Humantay Lagoon, located at over 4,200 meters above sea level, famous for its turquoise waters surrounded by glaciers. Horse rentals will be available for those who wish.

We will have time to rest, take photographs, and enjoy the scenery. Afterward, we will descend for lunch and return to Cusco in the afternoon.

DAY 08: RAINBOW MOUNTAIN WITH QUAD ATV BIKES FULL DAY

We depart from Cusco between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m., heading to the district of Cusipata, where we will enjoy a buffet breakfast. Afterward, we continue our journey by vehicle to the base of the trail to Rainbow Mountain. From there, we will ascend by ATV (or hike, if preferred) to reach the summit, located at over 5,200 meters above sea level.

Once at the top, we will have time to rest, take photographs, and enjoy the breathtaking multicolored landscape of Vinicunca, one of Peru’s most famous natural attractions.

After the visit, we return to Cusipata for lunch and then begin our return trip to the city of Cusco. Approximate arrival: 5:30 p.m.

DAY 09: RETURN FLIGHT CUSCO TO LIMA – HOME

Breakfast at the hotel in the morning.

This morning you will have free time to explore the city on your own and do some last-minute shopping.

At the appropriate time, you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to the airport for your return flight from Cusco to Lima, and from there, your connecting flight home.

The departure time of your return flight from Cusco to Lima will depend on the departure time of your international flight from Lima to your final destination.

Recommendations and suggestions for booking your international flights:

  • On the day 1 of the itinerary, you can arrive to Lima Peru any time morning or afternoon, you have to consider the check in at the hotel in Lima is after 1:00 p. m
  • On the day 9 of the itinerary, for the return flight from Lima to your country, it is recommended to depart in the late afternoon/evening. This will give you enought time to rest and allow you to take the return flight from Cusco to Lima at your leisure. The scheduled time of the return flight from Cusco to Lima will depend on the departure time of your international flight.

INSIDE YOUR BACKPACK FOR THE MACHU PICCHU VISIT:

Backpacks can be any size, but we always recommend smaller ones, as bags larger than 25 liters are not allowed inside Machu Picchu. Larger backpacks must be stored outside the citadel gates.

Dónde comienza y termina el recorrido?
  • Todos nuestros tours inician con el recojo a los turistas en la puerta de sus hoteles “Recogemos a nuestros clientes desde cualquier hotel ubicado en la ciudad del Cusco”, Recomendamos hospedarse cerca del centro histórico de la ciudad del Cusco, hará que sea más fácil encontrar su hotel.
    Todos nuestros tours finalizan en la puerta de los hoteles, es decir los tours finalizarán con el traslado a su respectivo hotel ubicado en Cusco.
Cómo prevenir el mal de altura?
  • El mal de altura o soroche puede causarte algunas molestias durante tu visita como mareos, cansancio o náuseas. Trate de evitar las bebidas alcohólicas y los alimentos grasos antes de la visita.
    Para reducir los síntomas, trate de aclimatarse un día antes a la altura de la ciudad del Cusco. Recomendamos tomar infusiones de hoja de coca (planta natural utilizada por los incas) es una excelente opción para evitar el mal de altura.
Cómo es el alojamiento?
  • Para todos los tours que incluyen hoteles. Ofrecemos hoteles de categoría 3* y 4*, cuenta con amplias y cómodas habitaciones, baños, duchas calientes y desayuno buffet. Si el turista gusta, puede cambiar el alojamiento a un mejor servicio. Solo tienes que solicitarlo vía email por un coste adicional.
Cuál es la mejor época para visitar Cusco y Machu Picchu?
  • Los meses de la estación seca entre abril y diciembre son el mejor momento para venir a visitar Cusco. Durante esos días la posibilidad de lluvia es muy poca, por lo que los caminos no son pantanosos y los paisajes pueden ser mejores para disfrutar y tomar las mejores fotografías. Por otro lado, los meses con más lluvia son enero, febrero y marzo.
Cuáles son los meses más fríos en Cusco Perú?
  • La temporada más fría en Cusco son los meses de mayo a julio. Durante este tiempo el sol es fuerte durante el día, pero una vez que se pone o pasas mucho tiempo a la sombra, puede hacer mucho frío. Puede bajar bajo cero por la noche, por lo que es necesario llevar ropa abrigada y chaquetas durante estos meses.
Con cuánto tiempo de anticipación puedo solicitar el tour?
  • Recomendamos comprar los tours con semanas o meses de anticipación, esto debido a que los boletos de tren y Machu Picchu tienen un límite de espacios, no espere hasta el último minuto para reservar su tour, de otra manera no podrá encontrar espacios.
Durante el viaje a Machu Picchu, ¿Dónde se quedarán los equipajes grandes?
  • La empresa de trenes que opera a Machu Picchu no permite que el viajero lleve una maleta que pese más de 7 kilogramos. Para subir y visitar la ciudad de Machu Picchu, se recomienda llevar una mochila ligera y pequeña para su comodidad; el resto del equipaje lo puede dejar sin ningún problema en la consigna de su hotel en Cusco, o también puede dejarlo en nuestra oficina en la ciudad de Cusco, contamos con un guarda equipaje también.
Muy Importante en caso de querer reservar el Camino Inca a Machu Picchu:
  • CAMINO INCA CLÁSICO 4 DÍAS: Si desea reservar el Camino Inca Clásico 4 días, debe reservar con anticipación para obtener la fecha deseada. Dependiendo del mes que prefiera hacer la caminata, es posible que deba reservar con 6 meses o más de anticipación, el límite de espacios para el camino inca de 4 días es de 400 personas por cada día.
    CAMINO INCA CORTO: Si está reservando el Camino Inca de 1 o 2 días, es preferible que también reserve con anticipación, sin embargo, de 2 a 4 meses de anticipación sería bueno, el límite de espacios para el camino inca corto es de 200 personas por cada día.
¿Cuándo es la mejor temporada para hacer el Camino Inca?
