Vistadome Train

The Peru Rail Vistadome train provides a first-class service in which the traveller will live a unique experience completely surrounded by panoramic windows that cover the walls and ceiling. The windows offer passengers scenic views of the Andean landscape and opportunity to take spectacular photographs of the Sacred Valley and Sanctuary of Machu Picchu.

This train service has an observation car, where passengers are treated to wide views of the landscapes due to the large windows and balconies. Its main characteristic are colourful, classic and elegant decoration, with wood finishes and decorative masks on the walls. It has comfortable armchairs with cushions and plenty of space to move freely around the cabins. Passengers are able to wander between the panoramic car and the elegant observation car whilst enjoying live Andean music and Saqra dance throughout the trip to Machu Picchu.

• Effective time for Machu Picchu: around 2 hours and 45 minutes (food and drinks not included).
• Timetables from Poroy, Ollantaytambo and Aguas Calientes stations are based on the number of Vistadome trains operating.
• Departure times cannot be modified.
• The trains only operate only from the mentioned stations and according to the modality.
